The Beehive – a purpose built centre
The Beehive is a purpose built Community & Arts Centre which is also home to the Honiton Town Council and other organisations. We have a 300 seat auditorium, changing rooms, function room which is also used for Town Council meetings, meeting rooms, café and bar and exhibition areas. Space is available to hire for community activities, meetings, conferences, wedding receptions, live events and workshops.

The Joanna Leach Auditorium
The Beehive has a 300 seat auditorium in theatre style with the stage area at ground level. The raked seating can be retracted so that the auditorium can be set out in cabaret style. The space can be hired for live events, community activities, dinner dances, wedding receptions, training seminars and conferences. This space is also suitable for trade shows, exhibitions and craft fairs.

The Liz Tirard Function Room
This room is situated on the first floor and has a maximum capacity of 40 people and is suitable for meetings, seminars, training, functions and small live events. There is a variety of equipment available for hire for your meeting.
The Hayward Room
This is a ground floor room adjacent to The Beehive Café suitable for meetings of up to 25 people.
Two Meeting Rooms/Offices
These rooms are on the first floor, are each 16m2 and suitable for small meetings.
The Beehive Café and Bar Area
This is an excellent space for informal meetings and small live events such as open mic sessions.
This space is in the lobby area and passageway to the café bar area and is a great space to promote high quality semi-professional and professional visual art work from within and beyond the town of Honiton. The space also provides the local amateur visual arts community with an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work.
